    David, nice article. It helps understand the construction of the transmission very well. I was curious if you had any insight to the common 2-3 shift flare that is present in this transmission. It is a very common problem, and the Internet is awash with horror stories, and Ford apparently has no idea how to fix it. It is present in 2009-2012 model years.
